Winter Fun at Stone Mountain Park

 Stone Mountain Park, simply a short drive east of downtown Atlanta, offers an assortment of family well disposed exercises this mid year. There are two new shows at Crossroads, a lot of fun open air exercises, and the Lasershow Spectacular, an Atlanta custom.

There are a lot of different exercises to do at Stone Mountain Park. Guests can climb the path to the highest point of the mountain for a remarkable perspective on the Atlanta horizon. Those incapable to climb can ride the Summit Skyride to the top. Daring guests can visit Sky Hike, where they can climb through the treetops on a family experience course. There are three courses of shifting trouble, from apprentice to testing. 

The courses cross wooden engineered overpasses, vertical net scaffolds, and a ropes course. Those searching for something less arduous to do may appreciate riding the Scenic Railroad, which makes a 5-mile circle around the base of the mountain, or riding the Duck Boats on Stone Mountain Lake. Families may likewise play a series of small scale golf, visit the Antebellum Plantation and Farmyard, or watch Journey to the Center of the Earth, a 4D film featuring Brendan Frasier. Likewise there are 15 miles of climbing trails, fishing in the lake, picnicking, and golf at two 18-opening fairways. 

One of the features of a day spent at Stone Mountain Park is viewing the Lasershow Spectacular. This is a thrilling laser light show set up with a good soundtrack. The 45-minute program starts daily at 9:30PM. There is open seating on the Laser Lawn and saved seating on the VIP Terraces. Supper bundles are accessible by reservation.
